| About the Tailwind Foundation |
The Tailwind Foundation is an Arkansas based non-profit corporation and a 501(c)(3) organization.
Our mission is to assist qualified individuals in their efforts to become pilots
and to help with advanced ratings. Our focus is on the Northwest Arkansas area, including Bentonville,
Rogers, Springdale, Fayetteville, and/or the surrounding towns.
Scholarships awarded by the Tailwind Foundation are not checks mailed to the recipient's home.
The Foundation takes an active interest in the recipient's flight training, offering encouragement and assistance, setting milestones,
and requiring periodic status reports from scholarship recipients.
